Independent Activity Cards
Level 1 Set 1, containing 40 double-sided cards, covers Stages 0 and 1 of the curriculum. Set 1 forms part of the 240 Maths activities for Level 1! Set 2 covers Stages 2 and 3 and Set 3 covers Stages 4 and into Stage 5. These colourful laminated cards provide plenty of appropriate activities for students at each of the six developmental stages of early arithmetic learning. The activities require only minimal teacher assistance. Answers are provided, as are activity card links to the framework as set out in the Level 1 Teacher's Guide.
Level 1 Teachers’ Guide
This Teachers’ Guide provides all the tools to plan a mathematics programme to meet the needs of all students. It provides suggested teaching activities, suggested independent activities, with links to the independent activity cards, some black line master worksheets and problem solving investigations for each area of learning. Also included is a record sheet to track individual students’ progress and answers to each Independent Activity Card.
