New Zealand Maths Homework Book For Age 12 by Geldof

NZMC Dragon Maths 6 is a write-on student workbook that contains a full mathematics programme for most Year 8 students. It provides solid coverage of the work at curriculum Level 4. Each chapter is based on a strand of the NZ Mathematics Curriculum document. The Number Strand has been allocated 4 chapters (50 pages) to adequatly cover all the numeracy strategies currently being taught in NZ Intermediate schools. A revision test is provided at the end of each chapter.

Dragon Maths 6 features instruction boxes, worked examples and a full set of answers (removable) to help students work independently of the teacher. The best use of this resource is as a classwork/homework book for use after new maths ideas have been introduced and the class has done some teacher guided work. It can also be used as a pre-exam revision resource. Students find the write-on format saves them time and the instruction boxes and worked examples reinforce classroom learning. Removable answers (perforated pages) allow students to mark their own work or the teacher may choose to hold the answers in the classroom.
